In early April 2013 I released my first fiction novel "Outback Exodus" which had been an idea in the back of my mind for many years. I have undergone the journey of the characters every step of the way. It's the story of survival in the Australian Outback and brings to life the people, places and scenery that are such a part of everyday Australia and the life I live, the places I visit and the people I meet. Come take the time and join our band of survivors as they journey from the devastated outback to the coast of this beautiful country. The scenes are as vibrant as the land and people who are such a part of my life. I hope you enjoy the journey "Outback Exodus" takes you on too. Settled on the Coast is the second in the series which picked up the story from Outback Exodus and was released in May 2013. This book continues to follow the characters from Outback Exodus as they begin to rebuild their lives amid the devastation which has come to Australia. The third book in the Outback Exodus series was released later in 2013 and will follow the future generation of hero's in their journey into the future and will also follow the years of settlement through the diary of Jenn the lead character in both Outback Exodus and Settled on the Coast. Come join the group of brave and heroic characters as they rebuild their lives, their country and their families. Gordon Under Attack is book four in the series and tells the story of the gang attacks on the settlement during the first years. It opens on a peaceful scene which soon scatters into an attack of the worst possible kind. The final attack on the settlement in Gordon Under Attack introduces the hero of book five in the series. Book five is Sloan, the story of a soldier pushed too far by the gangs who then becomes a vigilante in a world gone mad.

The Long Road South Series book one is Sloan's Journey. This was published in early February 2017 and continues the saga. Book two is currently a work in progress and as yet has gained no title.

The Destruction is the latest book to add to the Outback Exodus Series and is the prequel which brings to the fore the events which triggered the massive destruction the series is based on.

I have been a widow for almost 11 years at this point in time. I cared for my late husband during 25 years of ill health and up until his death at home in 2010 at aged 80 years. As you can imagine it is one of the hardest things to deal with and because I am a reader I went looking for books to help me deal with my feelings and emotions during this difficult time. As I could find nothing that spoke directly to me I decided to write the "book". I "made my own book" and now it's available to share, these books are the ones I needed to read when my journey began and from feedback I have had these are the books many widows and widowers need to read too. So here they are, books, written by a Widow for Widows and Widowers everywhere. I don't promise to have all the answers but I have written about the things which have helped me along the way... Widowhood 101 was the first in a series of books still being written. Widowhood 102 is an amalgamation of my diary entries during that first difficult year and 103 is a short book about tears and grief. I have since added from Us to Me to the collection, this book explores how life had changed for me in five years of widowhood. The Widowhood Series of books have not been written just for the Widowed community though, they are also written for those who are part of the family and give some idea of the challenges faced during those difficult days.

The poetry in Random Rhyme, Winter Memories, Every Day Poetry and Sitting in the Sun, are a collection of old and new poems and were written for both my own and the enjoyment of others. Sea Eagles and Quiet Hours was released in time for Christmas 2012. In 2013 I moved many miles away from my old home and settled in the high country of Southern New South Wales, there I rented a beautiful stone cottage which I have christened Scribblers Roost. Here I wrote Seven Months at Scribblers Roost and Midnight Musings, the first released in 2014 and the second released in 2015.Poetry has been a passion in my life and the saviour of my sanity since I was a child and now that I have the time to write it is wonderful to be able to write for others share the words. My poetry is inspired by life and the things I do and see every day or memories of the wonderful childhood I had in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand, the people I see and meet and the things that touch my soul, both good and bad things.

I currently live in one of the Southern Highland towns and have been settled here for five years now. I've spent the time painting the new house inside, changing the boring colours and brightening the house so I could settle and enjoy life. The biggest challenge has been the garden, a mass of overgrown lawns, weeds and nothing else. Five years on it has life, colour and a vegetable garden which sustains me both spiritually and mentally and certainly gives me plenty of physical exercise.

Now I move forward with a new series of books. This new series is something I was encouraged to write by a very dear friend. It is the story of both my family and his and where we overlap through history and time up to the present generations. Please check out the first book in the Curse of the Rowan Tree series, which is Elizabeth's story. It begins in the 1600's with the Pendle Witches and moves forward to the current generation and their lives. Book two will be released in a few months and tells the story of Liz and Will. Book 3 will revert to the 1600's and the witch hunts and Book 4 will cover the King who was the mover and shaker behind the witch trials. In every book the families of Liz and Will overlap with history and the story of their attempts to break a 600 year old curse ties together this series of books. Welcome to the world of Elizabeth De Vise and her family.

I look forward to hearing from my readers and thank you for giving me the chance to play a part in your life's journey as you are playing a part in mine.

Happy reading.
