Jack Baran’s career in film includes producing “Barfly,” “Single White Female” and “Kiss of Death” for director Barbet Schroeder; “Shattered Image” for director Raul Ruiz; “Jack The Dog” and “Manhood” for director Bobby Roth; “Renaldo & Clara” for director Bob Dylan. With director Jim McBride, he wrote “Great Balls Of Fire” and “Uncovered” and with Leo Garen, “Band Of The Hand.” He directed “Destiny Turns On The Radio.” His first novel is called “The Hollywood Guy.” “Father’s Day” is the second.
