Andy Lake

"Andy Lake is an author of business books and of speculative fiction. He is also a well-know speaker and commentator on smart working and the future of work.

Andy is a specialist in 'Smart Working' and editor of Flexibility, the online journal of flexible work. He has been over several years an advisor to the UK Cabinet Office on Smart Working, supporting the transformation of work and workplaces in the civil service. Andy has been involved in dozens of implementations of Smart Working in the UK and internationally, and also conducted leading-edge research into its impacts.

Andy is the author of "Beyond Hybrid Working - A Smarter and Transformational Approach to Flexible Working" ( Routledge, 2024). It's a comprehensive guide for implementing a strategic approach to flexible working, going far beyond the hybrid working approach of "work some days here, some days there".
