I have chosen to remain anonymous in an effort to insulate friends and family from things they would rather not discuss, or have attached to them. In general terms, I had an abusive childhood that helped me obtain a more concrete foundation of self. I have had an eclectic collection of life events that I daresay may be unique in their combination and, more importantly, might actually be helpful to anyone who is struggling with their past. If nothing else, I can promise it will be interesting. I have experienced physical abuse, molestation, neglect, abandonment, and foster-care. I have taken in and been responsible for my youngest brother twice (spoiler: neither time really worked out), I have traveled to Hawai'i with forty-two cents in my pocket, and I have finally started to realize my dream of being a writer.
