William R. Cobb

William R. ($Bill) Cobb, is a successful business Executive and Entrepreneur who moved to Colorado to join the newly created US West in 1985. Over the course of his career he has held such challenging assignments as Executive Vice President for a communications equipment company, Regional Vice President of a communication services company, President of US West Communications Federal Systems, and Vice President and General Manager of U S West Communication’s Large Business and Government Services Division. He moved on to become President and CEO of a technology startup company and led the strategic planning activities for a telecommunications infrastructure firm. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of North American Operations for CH2M HILL’s Communications Group.

M. L. Johnson is nationally recognized educator, writer and media producer; having published both peer reviewed and commercial projects and having created award winning video programs. He is a civic leader with over 30 years of experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors. His professional experiences include secondary school and university teaching, quantitative and qualitative research, project promotion and public policy analysis. He served two terms as an elected on a Board of Education Director during Louisiana’s desegregation era and is now completing his second term as an elected Board of Education Director on a high achieving district in Colorado. During his tenure in Louisiana, he was instrumental in getting the Legislature to change the State’s method of funding public schools.
