Aisha DaCosta

Aisha is an author, philanthropist, mentor, entrepreneur and investor that is active in her community and committed to being an agent of change. Aisha DaCosta was born in St. Andrews, Jamaica on August 18, 1978. At the age of three, she immigrated to the United States and was raised in Cambria Heights, New York. After high school she enlisted in the Air Force before going on to earn a commission as an officer.

In May 2011, Aisha founded a non-profit organization called "I am OKah!, Inc" that awards two $1,000 scholarships to deserving graduating high school students from Baltimore,MD. Today, I AM O'Kah! helps Baltimore City youth prepare for college and their future careers through year-round programs and workshops. Aisha also hosts speaking engagements on entrepreneurship, investing, and college readiness. Aisha is driven to inspire greatness in those that hear her message.
