Violet Nesdoly

I grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, the oldest of nine children and learned early the pleasure of immersing myself in the words of others. It turned out to be the perfect way to avoid the noise and big-sister responsibilities of a large family. That soon morphed into a desire to try my hand at writing.

That yen has never gone away and I am now an author, freelance writer, and poet whose special interests are:

- writing non-fiction, fiction, activities, and poetry for CHILDREN

- writing articles, book reviews, devotionals, poetry, and fiction for ADULTS

In June 2012 I published my first novel. Destiny's Hands (biblical fiction) is a retelling of the exodus story as seen through the eyes of Bezalel a gifted young craftsman and goldsmith.

I now live in British Columbia, Canada and make a practice of never leaving home without my camera.
