Steve Shadow decamped from Chicago many moons ago and now hides out in the sere, stark desert Southwest. Despite his noir-tinged name he writes in all genres and has published 21 books. He also has a series of short stories he calls, Shadow One-Shot. He is also a book reviewer and essayist for the Poisoned Pen fiction blog. Southwest Noir, a graphic short story collection, contains his story, "Surfs Up". He has also, under his real name, Steven Schwartz, published novels, and short stories, and edited an award-winning collection titled "The Sharpened Quill."
