Valter Dos Santos

Valter dos Santos is a Brazilian-born author and international executive based in London, whose writing explores love, loss, spirituality, memory, and the enduring connections between people.

His journey as a writer began with a deeply personal experience: losing his mother at the age of eight. Years later, experiences that challenged his understanding of life, death and spirituality inspired him to begin writing stories about what may exist beyond physical loss.

Valter is the author of A Verdade Nunca Morre, Borboletas no Jardim, Será Amor ou Obsessão, and Amor de Mãe, Amor de Filho, Além da Vida. His books have reached readers internationally, with more than 100,000 copies sold across his works.

His latest book, Amor de Mãe, Amor de Filho, Além da Vida, draws on his own childhood experience of losing his mother and explores grief, memory, spirituality and the possibility that love continues beyond death. The book was inspired not only by his relationship with his mother, but also by the emotional journey of his family and the experiences that shaped his understanding of life and loss.

Born in São Paulo and raised in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, Valter has lived in London for more than two decades. Before establishing himself as a published author, he built an international career in the beauty industry, working with major global companies and leading teams across different markets.

His life story — from the loss of his mother in childhood to building a career abroad and becoming an internationally published author — continues to influence his writing.

Through his books, Valter hopes to offer readers something deeply personal: comfort, reflection and the possibility of seeing love not as something that ends with absence, but as something that can continue in unexpected ways.
