John C. Kerr

I'm a native Texan, currently living with my wife Susan in San Antonio, and have been writing, both fiction and non-fiction, for the past 24 years. I received a B.A. from Stanford University and J.D. from the University of Texas law school. Five of my novels have been published, and two works of non-fiction. All but one of my novels have a wartime setting, World War I, World War II, and the Civil War and have generally been categorized as historical fiction. The non-wartime novel (Fell the Angels) is a Victorian- era murder mystery. New editions of three of my previously published novels, Cardigan Bay, Hurricane Hole, and Fell the Angels have recently been republished in Kindle format and in paperback by Joffe Books in London. My most recent non-fiction book, The Argyle of San Antonio, is Texas history published in 2019 by Texas A & M University Press.
