Heidi Garrett has been fascinated by the interplay between the visible — the material realm — and The Invisible — the unseen or metaphysical world — her entire life. Having studied astrology and the I Ching and their variants, sought the seeds of truth in Christianity, travelled through many rooms of 12-step recovery and practiced yoga for over three decades, she weaves themes from these explorations throughout her stories.

Ultimately, she seeks to comprehend that thing within each of us capable of aligning with the causal energy that enlivens us all and the world we live in.

Her hunger to keep things simple has proven to be an endlessly challenging and engaging life’s quest. The only thing she’s currently certain of:
