Hannah Hunt

I am a writer, both of academic works and poetry (where my pen-name is Hannah Stone). My academic research focuses on the spirituality of the Eastern Christian Church, be that its late Antique Syrian guise or that of the rich culture of mid-Byzantine Constantinople. I have presented my work in the United States of America, Russia, Israel and other countries and my first monograph, Joy-Bearing Grief, has been translated into Romanian. I work half-time for Leeds Trinity University, in West Yorkshire, England, and also for the Open University where I predominantly teach Literature. My poetry has also been published, both as solo works and in collections.
