David Cooke lives in Brisbane, Queensland and has a Bachelor of Business and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and Education at the University of Queensland. He has been writing since he was eight. The first stories he wrote were a series of children’s books called “Animal Maniacs” which were written and drawn by hand. He wrote seven or eight of these books by the time he was ten. At the age of twelve, he developed his first screenplay after watching the horror movie, Scream. It was 28 pages and about five friends who all get stalked by a killer out for revenge. Ever since, he has been writing short stories, screenplays and novels. This is his first published piece of work.
