Bill Belew

Bill served as a communications and intelligence officer in the US Navy before becoming a tent-making missionary in Japan for nearly 20 years. In his third career, he helped Silicon Valley companies build their online brands. Now retired, he co-authors a fiction series with his daughter, Mia, and writes two non-fiction series: Dad, Tell Me a Story and Revelation.

Mia, a homeschooled 12th grader, loves reading fantasy, adventure, and mythology. Frustrated by the lack of challenging, age-appropriate books, Bill and Mia began writing their own series, GrowingUpAimi, when Mia was 11. Now with six books, their series explores real-life preteen challenges—without time warps, mythical creatures, or romance. The books can be enjoyed independently or used for group discussions with parents or grandparents.

Bill’s non-fiction works reflect lessons learned through life about prayer, forgiveness, selfishness, and eschatology, with special focus on Revelation and the Gospel of Mark.
