Robert DiCello, author of TRUTH UNDER COVER: WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT DIDN'T TELL US and the children's book, JUNI B, enjoyed a carefree youth growing up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. College supplied Robert with a double major, Marketing and Management. Finding the corporate world not to his liking, he became an entrepreneur. As a man in charge of his own destiny, Robert found fulfillment steering the course of his life.
An urge to excel propelled Robert in his professional and personal endeavors. While building a business he pursued his passion for motorcycling. Starting a racing career at age 35, Robert went on to win several Regional Championships as well as two National Championships.
I have found that reaching out to the extremes of our limits offers a freedom of thought and a clarity of vision. It's like shaking the cobwebs out of your mind...your perspective is broadened.
One of the greatest lessons ever taught me was the desire to learn something from every person I have met and every situation I have experieinced. Many times I have met a person and said, 'I would like to have that quality in my life' or 'I do not want to be like that.' This is how we all can shape our lives and become what we want.
Fortunately I have met many exceptional people who have had profound impacts on me. And to those mentors I say, 'Thank you.'
Major influences in Robert's life are his and daughters and his late father.
Dad taught me to think creatively and to question everything. The roots of my drive to create a better world were planted by Dad. My daughters added so much more depth to my foundation. As a direct effect of their beliefs and insights I became a feminist. Women are great, and I empower them in all I do. I want to do my part in giving women the global respect they deserve.
A by-product of the major influences in my life was my blooming distrust of the government. Where large fortunes can be made, large lies are foisted upon the population. This is nothing new; money and power have always warped sensibilities...and always will. I am hopeful my writings will encourage others to question the "facts".
