Karyn J. Taylor

Karyn J. Taylor is the daughter of Maj. Welton I. Taylor and editor of his World War II history and memoir, TWO STEPS FROM GLORY. A magna cum laude graduate of Wellesley College, Karyn is a former producer/director/writer for CBS News' "60 Minutes," ABC News' "Closeup" and "20/20," PBS' "Frontline" and more. She is the winner of over fifteen journalism and filmmaking awards and has been nominated for two EMMYs, a Writers Guild Award, and a Columbia University School of Journalism Alfred I. duPont award.

Karyn received Stanford University's prestigious John S. Knight Fellowship for professional journalists in 1987 and returned to academia in 1995 to teach broadcast journalism at UCLA Extension. She became a Finalist in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting in 2004 (placing in the top ten out of 6,073 entries), and during that same year, co-authored the book, "Create the Business Breakthrough You Want: Secrets and Strategies from the World's Greatest Mentors," with well-known business gurus, Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hansen, Robert G. Allen, and others from around the globe.

Today, Karyn works as a Trial and Strategic Communications Consultant employing audience psychology, social science research, and visual storytelling techniques to help litigators, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs maximize their odds of winning in court, in business, and in their careers.
