After a life of change I settled in the Forest of Dean, why here? Well history played a part but I did not know it at the time. Sixteen years ago I arrived back in the UK, very stressed and shocked after many traumas due to the violence in Africa and liked the bucolic scenario I met here with sheep wandering around free, grazing in the forest, even sneaking into the villages and sleeping on the roads. Why you ask? Because King Charles II gave the miners of the area the right to graze their sheep in the Royal Hunting Forest and they are still free! Long lived sheep? No but that right is still in force.

Years later I discovered I had sort of come home, my ancestors lived in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire before moving to South Africa, some became Mormons and moved to Salt Lake City then spread around the USA and Canada so it must be in my genes!

My first book The Spider King was inspired when my step grandchildren were moved from South Africa to the UK, it reminded me of all the moves and new schools I had endured as a child and I wanted to write a book where the children make the difference, where the children are the decision makers. There are a number of books waiting in the queue following the adventures of the children in this world and in Quandah in a the parallel world accessed through the Forest of Dean.

My second book The Story Teller Gene is completely different and reflects my love of psychology, hypnosis and history by combining them into a book based on past life recall. I have started working on a number of novellas dealing in greater detail with each of the lives touched on in the book.
