Mohammed Rustom

Mohammed Rustom is Professor of Islamic Thought and Global Philosophy at Carleton University and Executive Director of the Tokat Institute. He is also Editor of Equinox Publishing’s Global Philosophy series and Editor-in-Chief of Islamic Intellectual Traditions (Brill). An internationally recognized scholar whose works have been translated into a dozen languages, Professor Rustom's research interests include Arabic and Persian Sufi literature, Islamic philosophy, Quranic exegesis, translation theory, and cross-cultural philosophy.
