Marco Arcelli

Marco Arcelli was born in 1971 in Genoa, on the Italian Riviera, whose intense colours and scents he continued to carry in his heart during the years he lived in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Houston, London, Copenhagen, Bratislava, Naples, Florence and Rome.

He is an accomplished businessman and a Harvard alumnus who has run billion dollar businesses but remains convinced that nothing is as fulfilling as confronting new places, cultures, people, adversities and most importantly love.

His debut novel, "The island that was not", received a very warm welcome in Slovakia, where it was published by Kalligram, and topped the best seller list for Italian Fiction on Amazon for several weeks. His second book, "Tre Generazioni di Haiku", is a collection of short poems written with his daughters, sisters and mothers, expanding on his vision that heaven is right here before our eyes if you are ready to accept it.
