Michelle Ufford

Michelle Ufford is a published author, popular speaker, award-winning blogger, and well-known thought leader in the data industry.

She has worked with virtually every aspect of the data lifecycle over the past 16 years and particularly enjoys data monetization and predictive analytics. She has been awarded by Microsoft as a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) on SQL Server for the past 4 years. Presently, Michelle is focused on Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Teradata, and PDW.

She has worked at GoDaddy since 2007 and presently leads the Data Management team, where she aims to make the company's petabytes of data easy to discover, understand, and consume.

Michelle lives in Iowa with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys playing Legos with her kids and attempting to keep up with the ever-changing world of data.
