Karen Lowe

Karen Lowe lives in Llanelli, south Wales with her husband Mark. They have four adult children. She has a B.A. Hons in English Literature from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and a Masters in Creative writing. Widely travelled, Karen Lowe has worked as an expedition leader and a youth and community worker and for twenty two years lead Antioch Church in Llanelli. Currently a spiritual director, she is also an artist and poet. Since March 2020 all books are owned by Welsh Revival Resource, formally Shedhead Productions.

She has written two works of non-fiction, ‘Carriers of the Fire - the untold story of the women of the Welsh Revival 1904/05’ (published 2004, sold 3,000 copies) and ‘Wild Wandering’ - an interactive book, drawing from the Celtic Christian tradition, not as 'nice' nostalgia but as a challenge to a rawness of adventure, connection and creativity (published 2006, sold 1,100 copies).
