Stephan Motes

Stephan Motes, who’s full name is Tyler Stephan Motes, lives in Cambridge, MA. He will soon be transferring all book titles to just Tyler Motes, be sure to be on the look out!

In his free time, Tyler enjoys seeing historical battleships and aircraft carriers, as well as harboring a love of travel, especially to Manhattan. He has overcome many obstacles in his life, including a debilitating back disorder and dyslexia this made him a passionate advocate for disability and LGBTQ rights.

Tyler is also transgender, he started his transition in 2014 and one of his best memories is when he first woke up after top surgery. Tyler, as well as being a writer is a professional photographer and photojournalist. He is working on a coffee table book of his work as well as a sequel to a very special book that changed his life, After the Dawn.
