Ralph Lawrence

Ralph Lawrence was born in Beaufort, North Carolina on September 18, 1935. Following in the footsteps of his father, he enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard in July 1953. He decided early in his career to remain in the Coast Guard so he graduated Officer Candidate School and retired as a Commander in 1978 after twenty five years of honorable service. An avid reader with a lifelong love of history and genealogy, he decided to write his first historical fiction romance novel "The Vixen Regent" in 2012. Ralph now resides with his family in Beaufort.
