Richard Lee King

Richard Lee King spent his first 45 years in the small town of Leslie, Michigan where he was born and raised and where he, his wife and his two sons all graduated high school. He later graduated from Jackson Business University and eventually became the Vice President of the local bank.

Several years after losing his wife to breast cancer in 1986, he retired and followed his sons to Jensen Beach, Florida where he began to write. He now resides in a retirement community in Port St. Lucie, Florida and has 20 books available.

Now well into his 70's, King continues to write although on a less frequent basis and currently has several new projects nearing completion. His first several books were of a poetic nature however, over the last few years, he has moved away from poetry and his most recent ten offerings have been fictional novels, in collaboration with his writing partner, Donna Hale Chandler.
