Amy Korst

Amy Korst lives on the scenic Oregon Coast with a small zoo of shelter animals. She is the creator of the Green Garbage Project (www.greengarbageproject.com), which has been featured nationally and internationally on CNN, MSNBC, London's The Guardian, and USA Today. She is a certified master recycler through the City of Salem, and spends most of her spare time reading or writing about environmental issues. When she's not busy teaching high school English, she practices heritage hobbies such as soapmaking, baking, canning, and sewing.
