Kevin R. Davis is a 33+ year veteran of law enforcement before he retired in early 2021. He was inducted into the National Law Enforcement Hall of Fame in 2019 as Trainer of the Year, KD was previously honored by the Ohio Attorney General as Distinguished Law Enforcement Trainer in 2018. Kevin recently retired from a large urban police agency in NE Ohio where he was a Detective assigned to the Body Worn Camera Unit. Previously assigned to the Training Bureau of his agency he instructed in use of force, firearms, tactics and suspect control. Previous assignments include: corrections, patrol, street narcotics investigator, SWAT Team leader and lead instructor. Kevin contributed monthly columns for Officer.com and LawOfficer.com as well as writing for: Law & Order, Tactical Response, Tactical Weapons, Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement, The Book of the AR15 and many more newstand self-defense, law enforcement and firearm publications.
