I've always dreamed of becoming an author — and after years of talking about it, I finally decided to make that dream a reality!

I’m Jeanne Frith, a Midlands-based author, and mum of two. My journey into writing has taken me in two very different directions, from the world of fashion and modelling to creating adventures for children.

For more than 20 years, I worked as a photographic and fashion model, with opportunities to work with names including Jean Paul Gaultier, Harper’s & Queen, Vanity Fair and Bon Marché, among many others. My experience in the modelling industry eventually inspired my first book, written with my friend Tiffany after we set up Wannabe Workshops.

But my heart has always had another story to tell...

I have now turned my lifelong dream of writing children's books into reality with my Harley & Pepi adventure series.

The stories follow Harley and Pepi as they discover the world around them, finding themselves in exciting, funny and sometimes unexpected adventures along the way.

I have currently published:

📖 Harley, Pepi and the Butterfly

📖 Harley, Pepi and a Parrot Called Blue

And this is only the beginning! The series is planned to include 10 books, with six more adventures waiting to be brought to life.

I’m incredibly lucky to work with talented illustrators who help transform the stories I imagine in my head into colourful characters and magical worlds on the page.

For me, becoming a children's author is about more than simply writing books. It’s about creating stories that children can enjoy, characters they can connect with and adventures that might spark their own imaginations.

I hope that when a child picks up one of my books, they smile, become curious about what happens next and perhaps even start dreaming up stories of their own.

From modelling to workshops, and now children's books, my journey has certainly taken some unexpected turns — but I’m excited to see where the next chapter takes me.
