Heather Rigney

Author, artist, and underwater fire-breather, Heather Rigney likes to make things. Things with words, things with paint, things that are pretty, and things that aren't. In addition to teaching art in both public and private schools for twenty years, Ms. Rigney wrote an Amazon best-seller, Waking the Merrow. Waking is book one of the Merrow Trilogy which depicts an alternate history of both modern and colonial Pawtuxet Village, RI--with homicidal mermaids, a functioning alcoholic funeral director/mother, and a dark sense of humor. Currently, Ms. Rigney resides in Pawtuxet Village, RI where she runs a small art school for both children and adults.
