Peter Totterdell is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Sheffield University, UK, and a Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He has published over 60 scientific journal papers, as well as books and book chapters. Much of his research has focused on studying emotion in applied settings, and has involved a wide range of organisations and occupations, including nurses, police and security workers, teachers, professional cricketers, assembly line workers, and customer service staff. He also led the UK ESRC project on Emotion Regulation of Others and Self (EROS, 2008-2012).
