Tim Boomer

Tim Boomer discovered the bass in 1969. HIs first gigs were with the Latin/Jazz/Rock Fusion band Taxi in the 70's, and he has now played in his originals band, Offbeats for over 30 years. Since 2004, he and his co-author Mick Berry have played together in 8 bands including a tribute band to The Who, Who Too; playing for 7 years in clubs, theaters, street fairs and larger venues throughout California and Nevada. While writing the Bassist's Bible he taught bass, coded websites for his bands, and edited video for the book as well as recording video for his own compositions, often shot in the studio during the writing and recording process. He has a channel on YouTube for video related to his book as well as another dedicated to his own original music.
