Jody Lamb

Jody Lamb is an author whose work centers on a simple message: your primary job in life is to take good care of yourself.

Her debut memoir, My Job Is Me, tells the story of growing up with an alcoholic mother, trying to hold everything together, and learning to let go. It launches in September 2026.

Her first book, Easter Ann Peters' Operation Cool, is an award-winning middle-grade novel about growing up with an alcoholic parent. It won the Foreword Reviews Book of the Year Award and was recommended by the Betty Ford Center.

Jody has been writing and creating content about her experience as an adult child of an alcoholic since 2009. She writes for people who grew up being the responsible one and are ready to stop surviving and start actually living.

She lives in Michigan with her husband and a senior cat who thinks she's a kitten.
