Jason Gibbs

Jason Gibbs describes himself as an IT architect and struggles to explain his job to anyone outside the industry. Having spent his whole life in suburban or urban environments, he suddenly moved to rural Hampshire ten years ago to convert a barn and keep animals. As a result he wrote a blog (www.wallowinginpoo.net), and then a book, 'Pigs, Poultry and Poo', which was published in 2012.

Having enjoyed writing so much he has now turned his hand to fiction, and is hoping for some success unrelated to poo. He's enjoyed some success in short story competitions, having won one, and been placed in a few.

He published a collection of stories entitled 'Post Scarcity Blues' in September 2014, and has published his first novel, 'Hopper and the Fresians' in July 2015.

More of his writing can be found at www.jasonmgibbs.com.
