Anne E. O'Neill

O'Neill writes from her personal experience as a nun for 20 years. That is the power of Benedictus, a true story written with vulnerability and surprising candor that may shock as well as inspire. She left her native Pasadena at 19 to enter a convent in the midwest but conflict over her vocation resulted in a life/death situation. Through intense soul-seering therapy to discern the truth, she returns to the world in the name of life. Her spiritual journey is one of transforming love - of God and a man named Joseph, the psychologist who knew the right questions to ask. She holds a Masters degree from the University of LaVerne and has worked as a teacher and administrator.
