Chellie C Gaither

Chellie C. Gaither (1967- ) was born in Kentucky. She had a fabulous childhood shared with her two sisters. She liked school and made good grades when she was attentive in class and didn't talk too much. She met her husband in third grade but didn't marry him until they were both twenty-five years old. Chellie taught middle school for several years before going back to school to become a librarian. If you ask any of her family and friends they'll tell you she is addicted to books. She spends most of her free time keeping up with her three teenagers. Along with reading Chellie likes to cook, paint, and sew. She's pretty proud of being a nerd. Last year she created a YouTube channel for the library and frequently posts booktalks to encourage her students to read. You can find her at TheWMSLibrarian. She loves her job and tries to deliver a little bit of AWESOMENESS to those around her each day. She was inspired to write this book when the middle school girls wanted to read more romances and she couldn't find the type of books they wanted that were also age appropriate. A few things most people don't know about Chellie are that she can play the piano, loves snow skiing, and is a certified scuba diver.
