Currently, she resides in tiny Ajo, AZ, a town 40 miles north of the Mexican border. Shari loves it. Although it’s very small; it’s also very “artsy” with a plethora of happenings: art shows, music concerts and other events, often held at the famed Curley School, remodeled to house artists and artisans. There’s never a dull moment, even in summer, when the town shrinks to a third of its winter population.
