Robin Storey

After many years as a freelance writer, I'm now hooked on fiction writing and love being an indie author. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia - beautiful one day, perfect the next - where we complain if the temperature drops to below 14 degrees Centigrade.

I've written 8 books so far in a variety of genres. I started off with comedy. and have now realised my passion is for the darker side of fiction. So I'm now writing crime/suspense - but always with a vein of humour.

In this genre I've written a stand-alone novel Murder Undone and have embarked on the Noir Nights series - a series of short, stand-alone crime/suspense novels. An Affair With Danger is Book 1 and Book 2 is Secret Kill, and I have just published Book 3, Obsession - A Crime Of The Heart.

I'm a certified book nerd (too many books, not enough time!) and am a useful team member on quiz nights for the literary questions - but not much else. I enjoy hiking and chilling out at the beach, which is five minutes drive from my home.

My partner and I walked the full Camino Frances pilgrimage (775 kilometres) across northern Spain in September and October 2016. It was a once in a lifetime experience which I would highly recommend, and my feet are now itchy again for another one.

I have no unusual hobbies or strange pets.
