Paul Georgiou

After five years studying English at New College, Oxford (M.A., M.Phil) I worked in industry for 15 years. In 1978, I set up my own company, Panarc International (www.panarc.com), to provide media consultancy services. The company pioneered media coverage analysis as a professional business service.

Throughout my time in education and business, I wrote in my spare time: poems, short stories and novels. It was what I really wanted to do (but evidently not enough to give up the day job).

As part of its consultancy work, Panarc was regularly involved in book production for clients. A few years ago, it seemed sensible to add a publishing operation to the company's range of services. So Panarc developed a publishing house (www.panarcpublishing.com). Panarc has published a number of my works, including a long, illustrated retelling of one of Aesop's fables in verse, The Tortoise and the Hare; a collection my poems, The Elements of Life; Adventures in Grammarland, a book co-authored with Chris Prendergast; Adventures in Numberland; and God for the Curious Unbeliever

In 2012 I published The Fourth Beginning, the fist book in the The Truth Quartet. The Devil's Truth, the second book in The Truth Quartet, followed in 2015. The Praesidium and Out Of Nothing Something Comes will complete the Quartet in 2018. The Truth Quartet is a philosophical satirical fantasy, which traces the bizarre adventures of Adam and Eve Smith in their quest for understanding.

There's more to come.
