Frederick L. Coxen

I've been a professional technical writer for over fifteen years. Currently my wife and I reside in Safety Harbor, Florida.

'From Notes and Well Remembered Incidences' is based on the World War I journal of my grandfather, Captain Frederick G. Coxen RFA, who served in both the Royal Field Artillery (RFA) and the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1905 to 1919. I created a realism seldom found in WWI history literature by offering just enough battle history to support the compelling journal entries.

My intent in writing this book was twofold: first and foremost to tell my grandfather's story. Secondly, I wanted to transcend the reader beyond the historical depiction of The Great War, by transporting them into the realities of war through the experiences of one man who survived while millions perished.
