Douglas Hammett

Douglas Hammett was born at Ft. Riley, Kansas in 1953. During his lifetime he has been in the gospel ministry for over 40 years. He has been active in many areas of ministry. He has been a church planter, pastor, staff evangelist, college professor and president, author and a life/ministry coach.

After 23 years as Senior Pastor of the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church he was 'reassigned' to the mission field of Africa, sent as a missionary from Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. He worked for 3 years in the country of Botswana, and is currently serving in the country of South Africa.

He has traveled extensively on mission trips and has been around the world. He has a heart for God's people and desires especially to help preachers advance their ministry for Christ whether in the United States or on the foreign field.

His great joy is in being the husband to Beverly, father to 4 children and grandfather to 10 of the greatest grandkids in the world!
