A Tennessee State President of the National League of American Pen Women for many years, Grace has been a popular columnist for newspapers in the South for 25 years. Her column Grace Lines offered meditations and practical ideas on how to make spiritual living a reality in everyday life.By popular request from her readers, Grace has gathered her columns into a more lasting format so another generation of readers can enjoy her spiritual insights. Through 65 years of marriage and a lifetime of Christian commitment, Grace Russell has shared her faith, love, and life with countless thousands at home and abroad. Wife of retired United Methodist minister, Dr. Hank Russell, they have 5 children, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren - with in-laws the family total is 50. As one of the remaining members of America's "Greatest Generation," Grace shares the simple, sacrificial devotion to the love of Christ that generation knew so well.

Besides serving with her husband in churches of all sizes, Grace is an author, artist, teacher, columnist, and international lecturer. Her works include Rings and Things, Hope in My Heart, and England as I See It, as well as book reviews, and magazine articles. As a minister's wife, Grace has lived all over West Tennessee and West Kentucky and also lived with her family in Manchester, England, when her husband did an exchange there. Grace has been an international speaker and delegate to numerous conferences She holds her degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
