Nathan Daniels

Nathan C. Daniels, male survivor of sibling sexual abuse (brother sister incest), writes about overcoming decades of suicidal thoughts and his struggle to live with crippling psychological disorders in his powerful memoir, Surviving the Fourth Cycle.

Also a contributor to Yahoo Voices, The Real SuperMum Blog, and The Good Men Project. Daniels is a published poet and mental illness awareness advocate, using the written word to show support and fight stigma related to psychological disorders and suicidal thoughts.

Homebound with Agoraphobia for years, Nathan also lives with severe Social Anxiety Disorder, Chronic PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Prone to insomnia and Self-Harm as well, this haunted writer dedicates a large amount of his time researching psychological disorders and interacting with various related communities and support groups.

Before publishing Surviving the Fourth Cycle, Daniels held a variety of jobs in a wide range of industries. He was a Construction Worker, Kung-Fu Instructor, Truck Driver, Tattoo Artist, and Warehouse Manager. An avid Bodybuilder and fan of Professional Wrestling, he was also a semi-finalist in the first season of the (then) W.W.F.’s reality show, Tough Enough, in 2000 (see author photos).

A proud family man, Nathan loves spending quality time with his six-year old son and girlfriend, of nine years. His hobbies include reading, drawing, painting murals, listening to music, and watching movies.
