Sherry Chen

Sherry Chen is an artist, children's book writer and illustrator residing in San Diego, California. She graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Book Design and Illustration from the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Beijing. Sherry came to the United States to study at the University of South Carolina in 1987. She studied in Studio Art with a concentration in Printing-Making. Since graduating, Sherry has won widespread acclaim after exhibits of works in various locations in the U.S., Japan, and Mexico. Her illustrations have been featured in a variety of children's books, magazines and newspapers. Sherry is passionate about art, education, and healthy lifestyles.
