Erin Hayes’ journey as a writer began when her Barbie fell in love with her Swamp Thing action figure, and she created a whole star-crossed lovers story around them. Nowadays, her stories have a little bit more depth and range from contemporary romance to urban fantasy and paranormal romance, sprinkled with vampires, billionaire princes, mermaids, steampunk, and all the stuff you love.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and a giant cat. When she’s not writing, she’s planning her next big trip, chasing her kids, or watching sci-fi.

Her Barbie and Swamp Thing toys are still trying to work things out.
