Patricia Dunn

I'm a Bronx-born, Muslim-Italian American rebel and the author of three novels: Her Father’s Daughter (Crooked Lane, 2023), Last Stop on the 6 (Bordighera Press, 2021), and Rebels by Accident (Sourcebooks, 2014). A 2024 Gold Medalist, I’ve served as Senior Director of the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, where I earned my MFA in creative writing. I coach writers and lead creative writing workshops.

I'm the co-founder and lead instructor of Key to the Castle Workshop, offering programs online, in person, and in Cetara, Italy. I also co-host the Westport Library’s podcast Go Ahead, Write Something and have written essays and articles for numerous publications.

I've lived and traveled around the world and now reside in Stamford, Connecticut, where I’m working on my next novel with my rescue pups, Blanqui and Cookie, curled at my side.
