MACK HICKS’ newest novel, Ghosts of Our Fathers, accelerates Jewish and Catholic relations through friendship and a commitment to fighting anti-Semitism.

He brought his expertise as a clinical psychologist to two previous novels and three non-fiction works, including A Catholic Survival Guide. He has appeared frequently on TV, especially in the area of school reform. He opened the first school for dyslexics in the United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts and Commerce (FRSA).

His first novel, Martyrs’ Tomb, was a finalist for Foreword Magazine’s Book of the Year Award. Nonfiction works include Parent, Child, and Community (Nelson-Hall), and The Digital Pandemic (New Horizon Press). He wrote monthly articles for the Psychology Today Magazine website. Mack and Susan Hicks live in Florida and have three children.
