Christopher Nowinski

Chris Nowinski is a co-director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine and the co-founder and executive director of the Sports Legacy Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the sports concussion crisis. A former Harvard football player and WWE professional wrestler, his 2006 book Head Games: Football's Concussion Crisis inspired the documentary Head Games directed by Steve James. Mr. Nowinski serves on the National Football League Players Association Mackey-White Traumatic Brain Injury Committee, the Ivy League Multi-Sport Concussion Committee, the board of directors of the Brain Injury Association of America, and was named a 2011 Eisenhower Fellow.
