Jeannette A Lichner

Jeannette Lichner holds degrees in Commerce and Accounting and worked for many years at Morgan Stanley in Finance, Operations, Investment Banking, Human Resources, and as Chief of Staff for the Global Head of Infrastructure. She was Head of Regulatory Compliance and Operational Risk for EMEA and Asia at Bank of America, and currently works with FTI Consulting. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, and sits on its Editorial Panel and the Education Committee of its Board.

Jeannette’s passion is coaching young people as they launch their careers and become managers of their own money, and she is actively involved in the campaign for financial literacy. Accredited by the Academy of Executive Coaches, she is a frequent speaker on career and financial independence, as well as financial services governance, risk and conduct issues.

Jeannette Lichner is truly international – she was born in New York to parents who emigrated from Argentina and Czechoslovakia, and spent her early years in the US and Lima, Peru. She considers herself to be British, despite the American accent, since making her home here thirty years ago and raising her family in the UK.

Jeannette lives with her husband and two llamas in West Sussex. Her daughter and son have both finished their university studies, and she is proud to say that they are (now!) financially independent.
