Karen Stokes

Karen Stokes is an award winning author of eight mystery novels. Currently she is working on her autobiography due out next year.

Ms. Stokes attended a private girls school in England, law school and creative writing at UCLA. After successfully completing two careers, the first as an Airline Stewardess and the second as a Customer Representative for a major corporation she began a third, writing.

Her many memberships include Mystery Writer's of America, Kansas Author's Club and International Women's Writing Guild. She is a director in the Santa Fe Creative Arts Guild.

When not working on a new novel she gives seminars, lectures, mentors new writers and has many book signings. Years of travel throughout the states and many other countries have given her a base of knowledge to draw from for her novels.
