Margery M. Henderson

In 1955 she married William Glenn Henderson. In 1967 Margery and Glenn, along with their only child,Cynthia, were appointed by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention as teachers in the small West African country of Liberia. They remained there for six years until Margery became critically ill with a tropical disease and were forced to return to the US. Later as volunteers Margery and Glenn lived in the United Kingdom for two years serving as Educational Consultants to the British Baptist Convention. In 1998 Glenn, an avid runner, died while running beside The River Thames.
