Sandra Pullman is a qualified horticulturalist from Burnley (Melb. Uni) and has been a Horticultural advised to ABC TV Gardening Australia and regular contributor to Your Vegie Patch, Vasili's Good Gardening magazines and contributed to many newspapers and magazines around Australia.
She initiated Friends of Burnley Gardens in 1997. Over the last 15 years, the FOBG has listed the heritage gardens on Heritage Victoria's Register, re-installed the traditional winter Pruning Day for the general public and relined the leaking heritage lily pond.
Sandi has 21 years experience and loves teaching people how to grow vegetables and heritage garden. Volunteer Garden co-ordinator at National Trust property La Trobe's Cottage.
She writes an informative blog Happenings in the Garden, sandisgardenpatch.blogspot.com.au which is about the success and failures in her home garden, La Trobe's garden and on anything else she discovers in her travels.
Sandi is currently writing an eBook concentrating on the horticultural side of establishing a vegetable gardens in schools and a series of eBooks on identifying nutrient deficiencies in plants.
